A516 Grade 70 delivery status is generally divided into two: thickness 1.5 inches or less (about 38mm) steel plate is supplied in hot rolled (As-Rolled), and thickness of more than 1.5 inches of steel plate is usually delivered in Normalized (Normalized). Normalizing further enhances the toughness and uniformity of the material by improving the grain structure, which is suitable for more demanding applications.Scope of application
