CCS B marine steel plate laser welding speed

Laser welding has fast welding speed and low heat input rate, so that the heat-affected zone and deformation of CCS B marine steel plate are small. In foreign countries, laser welding technology has been successfully applied in industrial fields such as automobile, aviation and shipbuilding. In practical applications, laser welding generally does not use filler wire, but when the joint gap is relatively large, filler wire is used.

Arc heat in hybrid laser welding can make the cooling rate of the upper surface of the weld slower than that of the bottom of the weld; thus, there is more proeutectoid ferrite in the upper part of the weld. Compared with pure laser welding, laser wire filling welding consumes a part of laser energy, and the amount of ferrite generated under the same power is less.

Laser filler wire welding and hybrid welding can compensate for the loss of certain elements during welding, which has a great effect on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the weld.

Among the three welding processes of CCS B marine steel plates, the order of weld hardness from high to low is: laser welding, laser filler wire welding, and laser hybrid welding.
