Manufacturing Process of Q235NH weathering steel

Q235NH weathering steel is characterized in that the alloy composition and weight percentage content of weathering steel are: carbon: 0.12, silicon: 0.25-0.75, manganese: 0.2-0.5, sulfur 0.02, phosphorus: 0.06-0.12, copper: 0.25-0.5, Chromium: through alloying of copper, manganese, silicon, aluminum, etc.

The manufacturing process of Q235NH weathering steel generally adopts the process route of concentrate feeding-smelting (converter, electric furnace-microalloying treatment-argon blowing-LF refining-low superheat continuous casting (feeding rare earth wire)-controlled rolling and controlled cooling. During smelting, scrap steel is added to the furnace together with the charge, and smelted according to the conventional process.

After tapping, add deoxidizer and alloy. After argon blowing treatment, molten steel is poured immediately. The molten steel of Q235NH weathering steel after argon blowing and temperature adjustment is cast into a slab by a continuous casting machine. Due to the addition of rare earth elements to Q235NH weathering steel, Q235NH weathering steel is purified, and the content of inclusions is greatly reduced.
