Q235NH, the full name of atmospheric corrosion resistant hot continuous rolled steel, also known as Cowden steel, corrosion resistant steel. It is a cheap and high-quality low-alloy steel series between ordinary steel and stainless steel, by adding a small amount of alloying elements (such as Cu, P, Cr, Ni, etc.) to form a protective layer on the surface of the metal matrix to achieve the purpose of weather resistance. Weathering steel has the characteristics of strength, plastic extension, forming, welding and cutting, abrasion, high temperature and fatigue of high-quality steel. Its weather resistance is 28 times that of ordinary carbon steel, coating property is 1.510 times that of ordinary carbon steel, and it can be used thinly, exposed or simplified. The steel has the characteristics of rust resistance, which can make the component corrosion-resistant and life-prolonging, thinning and consumption reduction, labor and energy saving, and benefit the component manufacturers and users.

Application of Q235NH weathering steel
