S355J0WP weathering steel applications and features

S355J0WP weathering steel is used in Bridges, ships, power station equipment, lifting transport machinery, machinery manufacturing and other engineering and welding structures under high loads.

S355J0WP weathering steel is atmospheric corrosion resistant steel, which is a low alloy steel series between ordinary steel and stainless steel. Weathering steel is made by adding a small amount of copper, nickel and other corrosion resistant elements to ordinary carbon steel. S355J0WP weathering steel has the characteristics of high quality steel such as strength, plastic casting, forming, welding, abrasion, high temperature and fatigue resistance.

The weatherability is 2~8 times that of normal carbon steel, and the coating ability is 1.5~10 times that of normal carbon steel.
At the same time, S355J0WP weathering steel has the characteristics of rust resistance, corrosion resistance, life extension, thinning and energy saving.
