SPA-C steel plate has good corrosion resistance effect and good protection effect for steel. When choosing SPA-C steel plate, its welding performance should be guaranteed.
Spa-c steel plate in the choice of welding material in addition to meet the strength requirements, but also in the corrosion resistance to match with the base material, because SPA-C steel alloy element content is less, its structure for ferrite a small amount of pearlite, with good plasticity and toughness, welding hardening tendency is small.
SPA-C steel plate welding generally adopts manual arc welding process.

For SPA-C steel plate with thick plate and structure with high constraint degree, preheating should be carried out before welding, especially for steel with higher strength level.
