Main characteristics

Storage and packaging

09CuPCrNi-A weathering steel storage and packaging also have certain requirements to ensure its quality and performance:

Storage requirements: The weathering steel shall not be piled directly on the ground, steel plate or cement floor, and the distance between the weathering steel and the ground shall not be less than 0.20m. To prevent moisture, dust, and pollution of the weathering steel, both ends of the weathering steel must be bound with plastic paper or bags to prevent dust from entering. Racks or stacks should be neatly arranged and clearly marked and numbered.

Packaging requirements: Packaging requirements are basically divided into two categories, one is ordinary bundling, and the other is similar container loading with turnover boxes. When baling, the weathering steel should be avoided in the baling and transportation process of damage, the same bundle of weathering steel should be the same furnace number (batch number), the same steel grade, the same specification, should not be mixed furnace (batch number) baling. When packing containers, ensure that the inner wall of the container is padded with moisture-proof materials, and attach a label inside the container.
