Q355NH weather resistant steel plate

Q355NH is an atmospheric corrosion resistant steel plate, also known as weather resistant steel plate. "Q" is the first letter of the yield pinyin, representing the yield strength of the steel plate. "355" indicates that the lower limit of yield strength of steel plate is not less than 355MPa. "NH" is the first letter of the Pinyin, indicating that the steel plate has good weather resistance. The Q355NH executes the GB/T 4171 standard. The delivery condition can be hot rolled, controlled rolled or normalized.

Q355NH chemical composition

The chemical composition of Q355NH steel plate mainly includes:

Carbon (C) content: ≤0.16%

Silicon (Si) content: ≤0.50%

Manganese (Mn) content: 0.50%~1.50%

Phosphorus (P) content: ≤0.030%

Sulfur (S) content: ≤0.030%

Copper (Cu) content: usually within a certain range, such as 0.25% to 0.55%, in order to improve the weather resistance of the steel plate.

Other alloying elements, such as chromium (Cr) and nickel (Ni), may also be present within a certain range to further enhance the properties of the steel plate.
