Study on surface anticorrosion of Q355GNH weathering steel

Some coastal bridge supports need to be made of Q355GNH weathering steel plate, and the anti-corrosion requirements must meet the relevant railway standards such as TB/T 1527-2011 and GB/T 9779-2011. In this study, several surface treatment processes of Q355GNH weathering steel were compared to provide a basis for the anti-corrosion process of each component of the support.

The Q355GNH weathering steel plate (150 mmx100 mmx2 mm) sample was sprayed three times and baked three times, and the baking conditions were 70 ℃ for 60 min. All the test plates were placed in the laboratory for 7 days and tested. The ambient temperature was (23+-2) ℃, the relative humidity was (50+-5)%, and there was air circulation condition. Not exposed to direct sunlight.

Q355GNH weathering steel bare plate is suitable for dry environment, not suitable for direct use in wet environment and Marine environment.

Q355GNH weathering steel after surface treatment, corrosion resistance is significantly improved, which surface treatment method needs to be based on the cost, product use and use environment.
